Ramón Foncillas

Ramon was a judge from 1999, holding positions in the courts of Barcelona including the Provincial Court of Appeal and the High Court of Justice, Criminal, Civil and Administrative Law Divisions, until his retirement as an emeritus judge in October 2017.
Prior to that he was a member of the judicial administration having gained admittance in 1970 as Secretary of the Administration of Justice and judge of Criminal and Civil Courts of First Instance.
At the Barcelona Provincial Court of Appeal he was assigned to various sections including the 15th which specialises in commercial law and intellectual property.
Graduated in law from Barcelona University in 1967.
Speaker and contributor to numerous journals, courses and conferences on matters of civil and procedural law.
